On Wednesday april 2nd 2008 (in other towns on april 4th) Christians from different churches will join a prayer vigil for the victims of homophobia, at 9 pm. at the Baptist Church (10, via Pinamonte da Vimercate, Milan - MM2 Moscova) with the christian gay groups to remember the victims of homophobia give a sign of hope, and to smash in, through our testimony, the wall of silence that often prevails in our churches about this heavy theme.

The Gruppo Varco has been born to encourage the acknowledgement and the acceptance of gay and transgendered people in the Evangelical Churches. "Many of us know what not being accepted can mean and, perhaps, have suffered real psychological violence to change their sexual orientation". Biblical passages, testimony, and support to those who fill him/herself refused: this is the Gruppo Varco, because "homosexuality is not a sin, and when you discover it, you feel free, like Israel escaped from the Egyptian slavery".
